Driving home from picking up a prescription, I come to a set of temporary traffic lights.

They change to red, I stop at the appropriate spot. A bit further back than normal, due to a junction with a residential street.

I look away for a moment to get rid of a spider's web on my wing-mirror.

I look back, they've change to green Me: Wow, already?

I pull away.

They change to yellow then red before I even get to the lights

Me: WTAF?!?

Which left me sitting in the middle of the junction, fortunately no one tried to get in or out before they changed again, though as usual a motorcyclist did decide there was room to pull in front of me.

On driving through the roadworks it looked like the lights were on automatic, rather than anyone operating them, so I have no idea what happened.

Then a couple of minutes later I'm driving down a dual carriageway and the car outside of me decided to drift a yard into my lane, eek! Fortunately the other driver woke up before I had to take evasive action. And it was a definite bit of inattention, they turned right at the roundabout we were coming to, which needed them to be exactly where they were.

If it's not the technology trying to get you, it's the other drivers!
