 Wheelchair Services finally convinced to assess me 18 months after first approach.

But they won't take my word for my issues, and want evidence from my GPs.

This means sorting out just how screwed up my medical records are just got more urgent, and further complicated by old GP retiring and never having discussed physical disability stuff with the two new GPs.

This week was already going to be busy :(

It's actually been sort of useful. I found out last week my notes say I have ankylosing spondylitis (no, speelchucker, I did not mean analysing bronchitis), which was one of the maybes before we figured out HMS, so I needed an excuse to get them to go through my notes looking for other howlers. I've just spent about four hours listing everything that should be in there and I'll drop it in tomorrow or Thursday with a 'say this, please'.

And that's a good excuse to bring up the things I've never talked to them about - unstable ankles, dyspraxia,neurodiversity, and how big a problem the anxiety is.

Best of luck. Chasing GPs is so very, very, tiring, but at least you've now got a lot of evidence on what does and doesn't work for you. Best of luck!
