Just heard from my mother that she's due to get the vaccine 4:30PM Saturday at a local doctor's surgery.

Yay!

I am so pleased to hear about people getting vaccinated; I will be so relieved when each of my assorted elders get theirs (though not entirely until they get their second doses).

2nd dose on the 9th of January. And getting it at a local doctor's is much better than one of the hospital centres, which are all on the other side of the county.

Pfizer's the only one we're injecting at the minute. Moderna and Oxford/Astrazeneca haven't been approved yet.

Thanks, she had it yesterday without issue, and is back for the second dose on the 9th.
