Medway is now confirmed to have the highest rate of Covid infection in the country, having overtaken Swale (just along the coast from us) on Sunday.
Average rate across Medway is 602/100,000. Fortunately the rate in the bit I live in is only 417, having just crept into the red on the Covid Map today. We were in single figures for rate back at the start of October, stayed under 100/100k until the start of November, and now look where we are. I'd really prefer not to be featuring in an practical example of exponential growth!
I'm relatively safe as I've no intention of going anywhere and the spread is apparently mostly household transmission, but it's still concerning!
