YouTube keeps trying to sell me running shoes and warning about ankle injuries while running in the wrong shoes (makes a change from pushing online gambling).

I feel they may have missed an essential facet of being a wheelchair user.

I really wonder, given FB promoted ads, what they think I'm running here. Current crop include "Speak with friends while you ski, ride, surf , etc." (which sounds wildly irresponsible, even for those who can ski, ride and surf, which I can't) - though, tbf, the remainder do seem to be for wine and ethically sourced meat, so the algorithm is at least getting one thing right.

By the way, have you watched Nirvana in Fire? I'm currently about 9/10ths of the way through, and I'd be interested in how you saw its portrayals of disability: the protagonist has chronic and life-shortening health issues which also affect mobility, strength and which have periodic flare-ups, and there's another significant character who appears to be autistic and have some learning disabilities.

Not watched it, I'm afraid. Sounds interesting on the disability side, but I'm watching very little drama at the minute.
