Laptop question

I'm looking at getting myself a new laptop, seeing as my old one is 8yo at this point, likely making repairs (the hard-drive is whinging it's about to fail) a bad investment.

Anyone have any thoughts on the desirability of Iris Xe graphics? Which is available at my chosen price point, but really narrows the choice.

For info, it will see quite a bit of gaming use, but I tend not to play graphically high-end games.
