Trees

 The tree at the bottom of my garden just opened up its leaf buds* today, this makes me happy.  There are also a handful of rather premature ** irises in bloom.

* as it's a 60-70 foot lime, that's a lot of leaves.
** premature as there's about 50 more haven't even started their flower spike yet.

Lunch today...

 ... was pork loin with fennel and fish pie, which sounded a weird combination on the menu board, but absolutely worked. Yum!
