It has stopped raining.

It has been raining* for about 48 hours continuously, and intermittently before that.

Clearly the weather has realised the Bank Holiday is over.

Just spent several hours writing complaints letters for the ongoing fiasco over Dad's care funding. (No new developments, just need to formalise the complaints). This isn't my favourite thing.

*Apparently it was snowing in the local villages, just not in town.

Sod's Law says as I was drafting the letters, my sister was getting a reply to the initial complaint they'll need redrafting for.

Oh man, sympathies. I'm sorry this whole thing is dragging out and hope that your letters get the desired effect.

Thank you for the link! You may be amused by this--so there's a chance I'll have to drop the mini-gamebook in favor of "The Door Half-Open," and I've notified my editor accordingly, but my agent was all "We can discuss future options if you still want that to happen later."

Also, my editor and my agent both volunteered to playtest...XD
