A couple of belated shots of my chair with the new back. Yes, just that bit between the uprights retails at £507. Mind you the seat cushion is £400 on its own. Expensive things, wheelchairs

There was meant to be a shot from the back as well. Now corrected.

(An Apple chair? Yeah, probably need a bigger mortgage than for a house!)

Nice -- is that wraparound part of the portability, or does it include a gell strip to make your spine happier? (I've got one of those, and wow it's comfy.)

The wraparound bit helps secure the cushioned part to the metal structure - it's a two-layer foam structure which then zips into a cover that's mesh at the front, with velcro attachments at the back, plus the wraparound that goes over and under and velcroes to itself. It's also got a handle built in. No gel strip, but I'm finding it very comfortable.
