So I spent last night working my way, point by point, through Labour's Disability specific Manifesto. Overall the vital stuff is there, it gets wobbly on the merely very important, and there are a few unforgiveable omissions.

And How the Hell do you write a manifesto specifically for disabled people and not have accessible formats available!?!

...Judging by the number of "disability-positive"/"anti-ableism" posts on Tumblr that are totally inaccessible to the people they're supposedly in support of:

Yes, thank you very much. Especially as you (davidgillon) are somewhat more positive towards the content than I was when I read it as an interested non-disabled person. Which makes me more optimistic that whatever seats Labour do manage to scrape this week will actually help to stand against some of the worst abuses.
