I wanted to see Edge of Tomorrow when it was at the cinema, but didn't get around to it.
I saw Edge of Tomorrow (2014)—a hopelessly generic title, but Live, Die, Repeat gives away the central conceit and sounds too much like a tagline—last year and much to my surprise I loved it. It's so cleverly structured and tightly written and the protagonist is one of the few roles in which I really just enjoy Tom Cruise. The film ends exactly where it needs to, too, and many of them don't.
[edit] You can tell she's hardcore because she's wearing a black exoskeleton and using a cut-down helicopter rotor blade as a sword.
And she lives up to being that hardcore! Which is pretty hard to do in person rather than rumor and I also enjoyed watching.
