(Plus, of course, if you show up to a *subsequent* assessment with *my* back on and just... don't... tell them... that you acquired it yourself rather than having it prescribed, they're very likely to decide that you have already been assessed as needing one so will just write you the scrip for a new one if required. Plus or minus Tories, of course.)
