Worldcon on Wheels

davidgillonThought I'd create a specific link over to my Worldcon on Wheels blog/con-report - which looks at Worldcon/Loncon3 from the perspective* of someone using a wheelchair for the first time**. It actually ended up with a lot more of an access-fails focus than I'd intended, but people have, mostly, been really nice about saying 'fair cop guv'.
As of today it's had over 1000 reads, eep, that's about 1 in 7 of the people there! Which makes it my second most popular Flat-Out post ever. (The most popular was when I took 38 Degrees to task for ignoring disabled people).
* about elbow height ;)
** First sustained time anyway, I doubt I'd ever done longer than an hour before, in places like airports, Worldcon was five 14 hour days of wheeling.
