Can you take in a parcel?

My neigbours have a new baby due imminently (tomorrow I think!), so are having quite a few parcels delivered by white-van-man.

11AM, Delivery guy: Can you take in a parcel for next door?

Me: Sure.

Parcel is 1.5m cardboard tube, easy to stick in the corner.

2:30PM Delivery guy: Can you take in a parcel for next door?

Me: Sure, already got one for them.

Delivery guy: Ah, you Post Office! Two parcels this time.

Goes to his van, comes back, rests 2m by .5m parcel just inside doorway, waits 'til I grab it then goes back for the other one.

Me, slowly tippling over backwards: Shit, this is heavy. And bloody difficult to get a grip on. 

I finally got it turned around through 90 degrees so I could rest it against the wall, at which point he comes in with the other one (1.5m by 1.5m), which he has to lean halfway across the kitchen doorway because we're rapidly running out of space in the hall.

I had a look at them when he'd gone. The big one says "Double Bed", it also says "34.4Kg", which is possibly the kind of thing you should tell someone before giving it to them to hang onto.

Be careful what you say yes to! (And thank god he wasn't delivering the mattress as well).
