I've just been catching up on the Cambridge Analytica stuff I missed while up in Durham and not reading Guardian online so regularly. Mostly more of the same, apart from yesterday's news they're shutting up shop, but then I read this one and it's deeply creepy - as part of her investigation, Carole Cadwalladr was investigating Leave.EU - Arron Banks and Farage's Brexit vehicle - so Banks commissioned someone to create a video of her being punched in the face and put it up on Leave.EU's site.
And it turns out she was on to something, customer data from MoneySupermarket, which Banks has access to via Eldon Insurance, which he owns, was apparently funnelled to Leave.EU. ICO is investigating.
Disturbing.
