Back from the Soggy North

Home, after three weeks almost entirely internet-less (3GB data sim lasted precisely 3 hours - I was not impressed).

Brief summary, longer post later:

Family were fine, until I came down with a savage cold, which I've definitely passed onto my mother, and possibly my sister. Fortunately not to Dad, but that by dint of not visiting him at the home for the last week. I'm better (for values of better including not actually in bed and shaking), but not entirely over it yet.

Christmas dinner with entire family by way of having it at the care home, surprisingly yummy!

Headcolds with randomly varying inner-ear pressure and hearing loss, so not my favourite thing....
