Lesley's story line has caused me at least to go on hiatus if not quit RoL -- I was waiting to see which way he'd jump with the "evil or not?" when he was still teasing it. It's very frustrating from a representation of women perspective as well, because in the early books their relationship was really interesting, especially since she was senior to him and better at her job as well as being non-supernatural, but now most if not all of the major female characters seem to be supernatural and one hell of a lot of them seem to be sirens or succubi or other "sex pollen made me do it" types, so I feel like I'm the victim of a bait-and-switch.
