I'd only read one of his Warhammer novels prior to this, starring a different version of Genevieve Dieudonne, but I definitely plan to read more, probably starting with his Moriarty stories in The Hound of the D'Urbervilles, though I also want to read the collected Diogenes club stories.
Johnny Alucard is packed full of different versions of Dracula films. The Coppola one is good, but I think the Orson Welles version, which forms part of the Genevieve as PI novella, is the one that sounds like it would have been most interesting to watch if it really existed.
Even with Newman's notes, I'm certain I'm only catching half the references, and the notes for Alucard aren't as complete as the are for the others, Alucard being the new(er) one, where the other three are reissues.
