I *adore* van Helsing and am absolutely spitting mad that the Mac version is broken - has been broken for most of this year, and the developers are sticking their fingers in their ears and pretending everything is fine.

I've never played diablo, but one starts to recognise a pattern - Fate, Torchlight, Iesabel, TwoWorlds - they're all variations on a theme. Van Helsing is by far the most interesting.

As a datapoint, I didn't find Katarina annoying at all; I liked her, and I particularly liked that she kept saving my sorry ass.
