Why do people not *think*, damnit?!

(Don't mind me. I'm just in a Grump from being stuck in a queue next to someone who did the whole "it must be awful for you to be stuck in that thing" act. I did at least put on my best Pollyanna attitude & say "no! I'm not stuck! I choose to use it, I couldn't be here if I didn't! It's great!" and shame her into some kind of "yes of course... I didn't mean..." but, still, couldn't escape her, and so, Grump.)
