One disturbing issue that came up during the assessment, I was discussing my various medical issues with the nurse doing it, and she said 'your GP mentioned ankylosing spondylitis'.
*headdesk*
Ankylosing spondylitis is something that my GP brought up as a possibility when I first started having spinal issues 25 years ago, and it was promptly ruled out. Yet she keeps bringing it up and now she's apparently mentioned it in a report for the surgeons. It's been a minor annoyance up until now, but if she's passing incorrect info to people planning to operate on me then I really think I need to fix it. something else to sort out.
