#Partygate report imminent (for certain values of imminent, and report)

According to government sources and the Guardian a 'heavily redacted' version of the report into No 10 lockdown parties will be released imminently.

I'm anticipating everything blacked out but for:
P1: Boris Johnson
P2: did not
P3: hold
P4: or
P5: attend
P6: any
P7: parties

It's a measure of how badly the Met Police have been performing lately that I find myself seriously wondering if the Tories bought them off.

Of course it's completely believable that the Tories would try.

And excluding conspiracy theories, the Met appear to have lost all sense of proportion, derailing an investigation into serious misconduct at the heart of government because they might be able to levy a few hundred pounds of fixed penalty fines. And they don't even propose properly investigating, they're just going to send people named in the report a letter saying "did you do what it says?" Having had this happen under their security cameras, then refusing to investigate, and now proposing to investigate in a half-assed way that completely derails the report the entire nation is waiting for, it's difficult to see a way the Met could have handled this worse.

Well, unless some of the attendees were serving Met officers,...
