I've done the half-hour snatches thing - a flare-up with my neck where I could only sleep sitting and with my arm propped up - and that was truly miserable. This isn't nearly as bad, just tiring and disruptive - I've been trying to run the errands I did today all week, but needing to get to the doctor, chemist, train station and bank doesn't really work well when the only time you're awake enough to drive safely is 3 in the morning!
I've been here before, so I know going up to see the folks will almost certainly fix it.
